Acting with conviction and deliberation based on our philosophy
The founder who valued fishing industry that is an essential industry for the people’s “food” established Maruka Seisakusyo in order to create a fishing net the supports the fishing industry taking advantage of the Mikawa land where the
cotton industry was established in Japan in 1933.
With a company’s philosophy of being a “necessary company” keeping in mind the work that will benefit people in the world taking over 80 years of history, we are developing
and producing the necessary fishing nets while understanding the changes in the environment and the background of our ear listening directly to the voices of our customers who work with the ever changing nature regarding the manufacturing
and sales of the core fishing nets. We are also developing various nets that support “living: based on the technology we have cultivated in fishing net manufacturing.
We believe that the first priority is the sustainability
of management and the sustainability of the company. The bottom line is that most important matter is that we want to be the first choice by them. We will act with this creed.
In line with our company’s philosophy, we encourage employees to act to be a necessary people and to grow together with this slogan, “today than yesterday, tomorrow than today” If we treat the company to be a stage they play together,
each employee has their own role to play however, no matter what kind of role they do have, for example, main role, sub role or even extra role, we want them to think that they are all our heroine. We want everyone to work with the
feeling that they are the main characters, no matter what they play. We are mindful of creating such a company atmosphere.
The criteria that we have decided as a president has which is three conditions: 1) employees’ happiness
2) customer satisfaction and 3) contribution to our community. When all things come together at some point, I then first make a huge decision.
As the highest executive management chief officer, CEO takes the burden of total responsibility. When I made decisions, I always have to call for the calm judgement with definite reasons. In the overflowing informational world, I have
been acting as the person who always have motto such as “Finding the truth” and, as a chief officer “Always learning behavior” so that I can try to make the “best” decision at the end.
In addition, I know that I do have the
huge authority in the organization, I always think to myself that I’m given the authority, within the certain amount of boundary, only if I have completed all the required obligations which I have to. If I have to make priority over
4 things, I will have to prefer to work “responsibility and obligation” to “freedom and right,” and I always struggle between these 2 sides when I have to. We are all living in truly competitive business world. We all know that we
always have to compete with others. However, unless you compete and win with yourself, you can’t win over others.
